Haven't posted in months! Just an update: Have an '91 LS650 in Holland, with loud pipe, nice little windscreen and running on 98 octane fuel.
Besides the great handling, great mileage (I get 29 KM on one liter!! If riding easy that is... just eaten a rear tire in 6000 KM) and reliability I sometimes worry about the noise the single cilinder pops out. It seems that my valves are pretty loud (have had it checked... seem to be OK) and it sometimes has this resonating sound while riding, like something's loose...? And also when I switch the engine off, I often hear a loud 'click'. Anyone of you guys got the same things? It also consumes a slight bit of oil, while not leaking or smoking...
The bike rides great but I was just wondering if I was the only one, or is this just the classic Sav story?
